About this role:

Permanent / 36.25 hours per week / Term time only + 3 weeks.

Required from September 2026.

Hours of employment are 8.am to 3.45pm (including 30 minutes unpaid lunch break)

We are currently seeking to recruit a Learning Mentor with Safeguarding to our Trust school; Matthew Moss High School. The role involves supporting learners’ well being, ensuring their safety, and addressing barriers to their learning.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about supporting the well being, personal development, and educational progress of young people
• An excellent Learning Mentor with a strong understanding of safeguarding
• Somebody who thrives on responsibility and hard work, and is committed to their own professional development
• Able to use your own initiative to support students, manage concerns, and build positive relationships
• Committed to going the ‘extra mile’ to ensure young people feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed
