Summary
We are recruiting MIG/TIG welders for our client based in Honley HD9.
You will be required to assemble and repair components in line with engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals (e.g., steel, stainless steel, aluminium)
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces before welding
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Carry out repairs and rework where necessary
Maintain tools and welding equipment in good working condition
Follow health & safety procedures, including use of PPE
Work to production deadlines and maintain consistent output quality
Collaborate with fabricators, engineers, and supervisors
You must have proven experience of MIG and TIG welding.
