Crynodeb
This role provides specialist system management, configuration and user support for the Trusts Community Dental EPR (0.6 WTE) alongside wider Trust EPR systems (0.4 WTE). The postholder will act as a System Manager within the Digital Systems team, ensuring the availability, accuracy and safe operation of clinical systems used across multiple services. Key responsibilities include maintaining system configuration and documentation, managing user access and security, supporting clinical workflows, resolving incidents, and ensuring high data quality in line with Trust policies and statutory standards. The role involves coordinating system patches and upgrades, contributing to testing and change control, liaising with system suppliers, analysing and resolving software faults, and producing system reports as required. The postholder will work autonomously, influencing decisionmaking with clinical and operational teams, promoting best practice, and supporting service users to maximise the effective use of digital systems. They will contribute to system developments, support business continuity arrangements, maintain compliance with Information Governance, and ensure procedures are in place for monitoring system performance. This is a key role in supporting safe, effective patient care by ensuring that Community Dental and wider Trust EPR systems are reliable, wellmanaged and aligned to operational needs.
