- Completing your training workbook and meeting learning milestones
- Buddying up with qualified drivers for guidance and support
- Learning on the job – including loading vehicles and understanding driver debriefs
- Going out as a driver’s assistant to learn routes and customer expectations
- Building the skills and confidence to become a safe, professional HGV driver
- A full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years
- Fewer than 6 penalty points and no disqualifying convictions
- A positive attitude and great customer service skills
- Previous multidrop delivery experience would be advantageous
