Summary
*The post holder will enable and actively encourage inter- professional approaches to immersive simulation across the Trust. *Reporting of faults with equipment, furniture, fixtures and fittings to the technical team within each centre. *To liaise with the Undergraduate Medical Education administrators who will provide support to facilitate the smooth administration of the medical simulation training programmes to include publicity, registration, and course feedback, for simulation activities they are involved with. *To engage with the clinical education dept 'Digital Agenda' and its dedicated programmes of activity. The post holder will contribute to the day to day running of the immersive simulation service and be expected to deliver multiple simulation sessions and programmes across the wider Trust. Working alongside the Clinical Skills and Simulation Leads, they will support the audit, development and improvement of immersive simulation teaching programmes and enhance simulation opportunities for medical students. The post holder will also support wider Clinical Education activity, including clinical skills teaching and the integration of technologies into educational programmes as required. During the post, the post holder will undertake a medical education qualification and complete a research project focused on simulation based education and human factors. They will also engage with and support key stakeholders across the Trust regarding the delivery of simulation, as directed by the Head of Clinical Education and the Associate Director of Medical Education -- Clinical Education.
