Key Responsibilities:
Lab Logistics and Financial Management: Oversee purchasing, manage budgets, handle orders and payments, and ensure timely delivery of lab supplies.
Administrative Duties: Manage company insurance, book travel, and organize internal and external meetings.
Business Development: Identify and coordinate attendance at industry conferences.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain workplace safety protocols.
HR Functions: Handle recruitment, onboarding, and other HR-related tasks.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in laboratory management, operations management, or working as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, Founder’s Associate, or in a similar generalist role.
Alternatively we explicitly welcome and will consider applicants with an academic or practical background in microbiology/life sciences who want to transition away from the bench and into a business operations career. In this case the prior experience listed above is not an absolute requirement.
Familiarity with microbiology is a strong plus.
