Summary

Teacher of Science | Maternity Cover (with Permanent Potential)

Location: Angmering / Littlehampton Area

Salary: TMS / UPS (To be negotiated)

Contract Type: 1.0 FTE Fixed Term (September 2026 Start)

Randstad Education is seeking an ambitious and motivated Teacher of Science to join a large, effective secondary school and Sixth Form (1,300+ students). This school is recognized for its commitment to providing for all students' needs, including those supported by its specialized Physical and Sensory Support Centre.

The Role

This is a fixed-term maternity contract with the potential to lead to a permanent appointment. We are looking for a professional who is committed to securing high standards across all three key stages through:

  • Evidence-Informed Teaching: Confidently handling planning, assessment, intervention, and data tracking to meet performance goals.

  • Explicit Instruction: Delivering knowledge and skills through deliberate and clear teaching methods to ensure outstanding attainment.
