Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate should have Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
The role is varied and may involve assisting clients with various day-to-day tasks to enable them to live independently, or promoting their independence by practicing life skills like cooking or catching public transport with them, it may include household cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, or running errands, reconnecting people with the local community by bringing them to coffee mornings or to classes or groups. You may also provide companionship or respite assistance, you may be required to accompany clients to appointments or social outings. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as the role allows you to work with clients on a regular basis, picking days and times which suit you to form a regular routine for the clients you support, creating meaningful impact in their lives.
Requirements:
Experience in similar roles is preferred but not necessary, any one wanting to make a difference and give back to their community can apply!
Valid driving license with a clean driving record is essential for transporting clients.
Basic proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required for clear communication.
Excellent communication skills to engage positively with clients and their families.
