The Opportunity
ZETEC Recruitment are working with a well-established Liverpool-based business looking to recruit an Operations Administrator to support the day-to-day running of site operations.
This is a varied position offering exposure to operational administration, compliance, reporting, planning, HR support and customer liaison activities. Working closely with managers and supervisors, you will play an important role in ensuring operational processes run smoothly and efficiently.
The role would suit an organised and proactive person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to operational and site management teams
Maintain accurate records, reports and operational documentation
Assist with planning and scheduling of site activities
Produce KPI reports and management information
Support compliance activities, audits and document control processes
Maintain training records and personnel documentation
Assist with recruitment, onboarding and employee administration
Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments
Support purchasing and supplier administration activities
Monitor and update operational systems and databases
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiencies
Provide general support across a range of operational functions
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience within an Operations Administrator, Site Administrator, Contract Administrator or similar position
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience producing reports and maintaining records
The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience within manufacturing, logistics or industrial environments would be advantageous
