Role Description
This is a fulltime hybrid role for an Architectural Technologist at BLOKKA. You’ll be responsible for the technical delivery of commercial projects from RIBA Stage 2 - 6. The role is primarily based in our Cardiff or Sheffield Studio, but we’re a flexible bunch and open to hybrid and flexible working patterns.
Key Responsibilities
Develop robust technical design solutions supported by detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications
Produce coordinated technical documentation, including GA drawings, construction details, and tender packages
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, standards, and best practice
Work closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, and the wider Blokka team
Support project delivery from concept through to completion, including site coordination
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative studio culture
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist working on commercial projects
Strong technical knowledge, including construction detailing and building regulations
Proficiency in Revit is essential; experience with the Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial
Ability to produce clear, accurate, and coordinated technical information
Strong communication and presentation skills
High attention to detail and confident problem solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field
