We are currently recruiting for a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 7 pupil at High Peak School in the south of Stockport.
This is a full-time role with an immediate start, supporting a student with additional needs to access learning and maintain engagement throughout the school day. The role requires someone who is patient, resilient, and confident in managing behaviours and providing consistent, structured support.
- Deliver dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Support engagement with learning and activities
- Use appropriate strategies to manage behaviour and promote wellbeing
- Work closely with teaching staff and support teams
- Experience supporting children with additional needs or in a similar role
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Calm, proactive, and nurturing approach
- Driver preferred due to location
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Immediate start
