Contract: Term‑time only (39 weeks), 37.5 hours per week

The successful candidate will be enrolled onto the United Learning Apprenticeship Scheme, where they will receive high-quality on-the-job training alongside the opportunity to achieve a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.

About the role: As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will:

Support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and inclusion, including pupils with SEND

Work closely with teachers to deliver learning activities and interventions, developing your own skills in the process

Help create a safe, caring and purposeful classroom environment

Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence and self-esteem

Support behaviour, routines and positive relationships

Contribute to the wider life of the school



This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values teamwork and wants to make a real difference every day.



Who we are looking for

We would love to hear from candidates who:

Have at least GCSE Grade C Mathematics and English (or equivalent)  

A genuine interest in working with children supporting their learning and development.

A positive, patient and caring approach.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

A willingness to learn and develop through the apprenticeship programme

Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
