Summary
Main Duties/Responsibilities
Machine Setup and Operation
Set up and operate machinery according to product specifications and safety guidelines.
Ensure all safety guards and features are in place and functioning correctly.
Monitoring and Maintenance
Monitor the manufacturing process and machine performance during production.
Carry out basic equipment checks and testing.
Report any equipment faults to the Supervisor or Technical Support.
Perform or assist with changeovers, cleaning, and other production-related tasks.
Quality Control
Conduct quality control checks on products, including pH, taste, colour, appearance, flavour, and texture.
Ensure products meet internal and customer standards, tolerances, and specifications.
Liaise with Quality Assurance personnel as needed.
Documentation and Traceability
Accurately complete all required documentation related to production, quality checks, and traceability.
Record raw material usage and finished product weights.
Process documentation required for the manufacturing of finished products.
Weigh and label goods ready for the production area.
Safety and Compliance
Follow all Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain a clean and organized working environment; follow "Clean as You Go" procedures.
Promote a culture of safety and compliance at all times.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency, product quality, and overall operations.
Contribute actively to continuous improvement initiatives.
Training and Support
Support and mentor less experienced Operators.
Attend taste panels when required.
Assist in general production support as needed.
