Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role in a supportive Special Education setting?

We are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Feltham, supporting pupils from Reception through to Year 11. The school caters for students with a range of additional needs, and applicants must have experience working with children or young people with a diagnosis of autism.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will:

• Support students with autism across a specialist school environment
  
• Work closely with class teachers, therapists, and support staff
  
• Help pupils access learning and develop independence
  
• Provide consistent, patient, and positive support
  
• Assist with behaviour, communication, and sensory needs where required
  

  Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting students with autism
    
  • Experience in a school, care, SEN, or specialist provision is desirable
    
  • A calm, resilient, and nurturing approach
    
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
    
  • Must hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
