Summary
Our well-established Nepalese and Indian restaurant and takeaway is based in Lincoln, UK. We are currently seeking an experienced Tandoori Chef / Second Chef to join our busy kitchen team following the departure of a previous team member.
The Role
You will play a key part in our kitchen operations, preparing and cooking authentic Nepalese and Indian cuisine to a consistently high standard. Working alongside our Head Chef, you will help maintain service quality during busy restaurant and takeaway periods.
Key responsibilities include:
-Preparing and cooking tandoori dishes and a range of Nepalese and Indian cuisine
-Assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
-Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards
-Supporting stock management and kitchen organisation
-Upholding the quality and consistency expected by our customers
What We're Looking For
-Proven experience as a Chef, Second Chef, or Tandoori Chef in a Nepalese and/or Indian restaurant setting
-Strong knowledge of tandoori cooking techniques and South Asian cuisine
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
-Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player

-Hours: 41 hours per week, over 6 days
-Salary: £32,250 per annum
-Visa Sponsorship: This role is eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for qualifying candidates
