Location: Runcorn
Rate of Pay: £45,000 per annum + overtime
Our client is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer with a strong Electrical bias to join their team at their Runcorn site. This is a permanent role offering stable hours, excellent overtime rates, and the opportunity to work within a supportive engineering environment.
The Role
- Electrical-focused role (75% Electrical / 25% Mechanical)
- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of site equipment
- Carrying out electrical and mechanical calculations
- Completing risk assessments and ensuring works are carried out safely
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards
- Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues
- Attending and resolving breakdowns (overtime paid where required)
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a multi‑skilled or electrical maintenance role
- Strong working knowledge of electrical codes and standards
- Proven analytical and fault‑finding skills
- Domestic electrical qualifications and experience are highly desirable
- Flexible approach with the ability to respond to breakdowns and call‑outs
Working Hours & Overtime
- Monday to Friday
- 08:30 – 16:30 (8‑hour shifts / 40 hours per week)
- Overtime and emergency call‑outs required
Overtime Rates:
- Hours over 40 per week paid at time and a half
- Sunday call‑outs (day or night) paid at double time
- Minimum 4‑hour call‑out payment (paid at time and a half)
