Senior Business Analyst
Location: Based in Nottingham office, with 1-2 days per week onsite, occasionally more depending on operational need
Salary: Day rate: £600-£650 depending on experience Inside IR35
Contract: 6 Months
We are preparing to recruit a Senior Business Analyst.
The role will be central to shaping requirements, improving processes, and supporting delivery across a complex stakeholder landscape, working closely with teams across Product, Operations, Sales, Technology, and external partners.
Key responsibilities:

Gather, define, and document business requirements in collaboration with the Project Manager and wider delivery teams

Translate high-level business objectives into clear functional and technical requirements

Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities

Map end-to-end processes and customer journeys, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement and automation

Develop AS-IS and TO-BE process flows in collaboration with technical teams

Support reporting and data requirement definition across commercial, operational, and product teams
Key requirements:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex programme or transformation environments (energy, utilities, or tech preferred)

Strong capability in process mapping and documentation of end-to-end workflows

Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple business functions

Ability to operate credibly in front of senior stakeholders and translate complex needs into clear delivery outputs

Strong analytical mindset with a focus on clarity, structure, and outcomes
