Summary

Key Responsibilities



Bar service staff must be over the age of 18 and will be required to work in hospitality suites and dispense bars within the stadium. You will be working as part of a team that is directed by the Room Manager and Supervisor, aiming to go above and beyond customer expectations to ensure that all customers have a world class experience Middlesbrough Football Club.



A bar position requires a well presented candidate who is trustworthy and respectful who has a pleasant manner with a welcoming and cheery personality. You must have the capability of working on your own as well as part of a team. A good command of spoken and written English is essential to be able to communicate and interact with customer effectively.



We require candidates who are passionate about customer service, serve and present beverages quickly and efficiently meeting Manchester United’s standards, whilst ensuring satisfaction to produce high quality performance in a demanding environment.



Main Duties



•Set up, stock and maintain the bar

•Inspect cleanliness and presentation of glassware that will be used during service

•Maintain cleanliness of all work areas throughout the day, practicing the clean-as-you-go procedures

•Transport supplies to bar set-up area

•Develop knowledge of products available

•Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals

•Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks, stock ice and glassware

•Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; converse using clear and professional language

•Prepare drinks orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems

•Issue, open and serve bottles of wine/champagne

•Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs; restock bar with liquor and supplies when necessary

•Operate the tills through the EPOS system, cash handle and process all payment methods if applicable on each bar.

•Maintain and protect company assets

•Abide by and enforce all licensing laws

•Cross train to assist other areas of the business when required

•Complete closing duties which may include; storing all reusable goods correctly, breaking down goods and stock control/rotation, cleaning & returning all equipment and working areas, completing paperwork

•Perform additional job duties as requested by the manager or supervisor
