Immigration Case Worker
Prime Solicitors is one of the leading providers of Legal Aid services in Hounslow. We are The Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Law Accreditation (IAAS) Level 2 (Senior Caseworker) We have a strong reputation for providing an efficient and professional service tailored to meet the needs of the client.
We are currently expanding our offices and are looking for an experienced IAAS Level 2 Immigration Caseworker to join our busy team of solicitors.
You will be joining a specialist Immigration Department who deal with a high volume of Immigration work, both in private/business immigration and asylum work.
Role:
You will be directly responsible to the Immigration supervisor. You will receive full supervision, guidance and support in your role.
Responsibilities:
• Liaising with new clients.
• Attending clients
• Taking instructions and preparing cases
• Dealing with correspondence
• Legal casework in Asylum and general Immigration work.
Requirements:
• LAA Level 2 Accreditation essential / Willingness To Attain within a Year.
• A strong academic background in Immigration.
• Excellent communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office and outlook
• A positive approach to working under pressure and in a busy environment
• Business acumen
