Contract Length: Initially until Friday 17th July 2026 (sickness cover)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in the Bolton area. This is a full-time temporary position for the remainder of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons across KS3 and GCSE.
• Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to students of varying abilities.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support to help all students reach their full potential.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and the ongoing development of the PE department.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements
• Recent experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
• Recognised teaching qualification with QTS.
• Proven experience teaching KS3 and GCSE PE.
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Availability to start after the half-term break.
