Working Hours: 36 hours per week working core school hours (8am-4pm). Flexibility in hours required for school events. Ascension Catholic Academy Trust (ACAT) is a relatively new Multi Academy Trust currently comprising two Catholic secondary schools and four Catholic primaries serving in excess of 3400 pupils and is an employer of nearly 400 staff.We are looking to recruit a committed and dynamic Site & Facilities Assistant who will have a positive impact on the collaboration of schools as we continue to work together to share costs and provide more opportunities for our children. The postholder will help maintain safe, secure, and well-presented school environments by carrying out a broad range of site, maintenance, compliance, and operational duties. Please note, a driving licence and use of a personal vehicle is required for this role as you may be expected to travel between schools (out of pocket travel expenses will be reimbursed). However, there is flexibility on this during the first year. If you feel you have the skills and personal attributes that we are looking for, and that you can commit to our Trusts values, then we would welcome your application. You will be given training and fully supported in your role via the Estates team as well as directly within each school by the Premises staff.We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
