I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated PA / carer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to an elderly Muslim male in his own home ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties
* Assist with daily personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support client with mobility and movement around their environment
* Follow individualised care plans to meet specific health and wellbeing needs
* Monitor and record health conditions and report any concerns.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to client
* Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
* Maintain accurate documentation
* Support clients with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required (driving skills preferred)
* Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with organisational policies
Qualifications
* Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving client transportation
* Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with clients and team members
* Excellent communication skills, compassionate nature, and the ability to build rapport with client
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends if required
