Support Worker required for a residential care setting in Barry, South Wales.
PAY RATE: £12.50 - £14.00 per hour
Location: Barry, CF62
Hours: Full time and part time available — day shifts and night shifts
Contract: Ongoing temporary
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to residents in a supported living setting
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation and medication administration
- Support residents with social activities and community engagement
- Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans
- Work as part of a team to ensure high-quality care delivery
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care or support worker role (preferred but not essential — training provided)
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
- Mandatory care training certificates (or willing to complete)
- Reliable, compassionate, and committed to making a difference
- Must be able to work shift patterns including nights and weekends
