We are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant to work across KS2 from September 2026. Working hours are negotiable and can be discussed at interview but ideally would include at least 2 full days.We are seeking an inspirational staff member who has:
• Ideally an NVQ level 2 or 3 in an aspect of childcare.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills – equivalent GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths.
• Experience of working with primary aged children within a learning environment
• An ability to work well as part of a team and to co-operate with other staff.
The successful candidate will:
• Have experience of delivering interventions to small groups or individuals, targeting both academic and social-emotional progress.
• Supporting the needs of the children alongside the class teacher.
• Have a strong understanding of children’s emotional well-being.
• Supervise pupils during lunchtimes, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
