Ambassadors Resourcing is looking to recruit Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to undertake temporary work in a large, busy, popular day nursery in Kings Norton with fantastic facilities, both inside and outside. The roles require practitioners to work for 40 hours a week for at least a couple of months, but it may be extended.

Job Description

• The successful Level 3 Early Years Practitioners will:
• Show a passion for working with children in the Early Years and understand
the importance of meeting every child’s individual needs and interests
by effectively planning and observing and tailoring age-appropriate
activities accordingly
• Have sound knowledge of the EYFS
• Promote and nurture the children’s development of creativity, individuality
and self confidence through child-led exploration and adult guided experiences
• Contribute to a safe, clean, inspiring and inclusive environment which
allows the children to develop confidence, independence and joy
• Engage in excellent communication with the team and parents/carers
• Actively promote & support the safeguarding of all children, ensuring that
the policies and procedures of the day nurseries and Ambassadors Resourcing
are observed and their responsibilities are understood

Requirements

• The successful Level 3 Early Years Practitioners must have:
• Level 3 in Child Care and Education or the equivalent
• A minimum of GCSE Grade 4 in English if a Level 3 practitioner, or the
equivalent
• A current Paediatric First Aid certificate or a willingness to undertake the
training with us as soon as possible
• An enhanced DBS or obtain one through Ambassadors Resourcing during the
registration process
• An Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and have a legal right to work in
the country
• Two acceptable reference checks from previous employers, including from a
childcare & education setting, or educational institutions from the last 2 years
• An in-person interview which will include questions about safeguarding and
the candidate’s understanding of working with children

Please note that this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exemptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. Candidates are required to complete a self-declaration form prior to interview
