About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
• Have a degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, English, Maths, or a related subject (desirable)
• Possess strong spoken English skills to support pupils, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
• Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and nurturing attitude
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be passionate about education, child development, and inclusive learning
• Have experience supporting children within EYFS and/or SEND settings (highly desirable)
• Be an aspiring teacher, educational psychologist, or SEN specialist
• Have the right to work in the UK
The Role
As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both academic progress and pupil wellbeing. Responsibilities include:
• Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
• Assisting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Supporting learning in Early Years through structured and play-based activities
• Promoting positive social, emotional, and communication development
• Helping to maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
