Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HIAB (Remote Grab) Drivers for an ongoing full-time role with a well-established client operating throughout Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent weekday work, weekly pay, and the potential to secure a permanent position.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00am start times
Minimum 40 hours guaranteed per week
Overtime available depending on workload
The Role
Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle with remote grab attachment
Completing multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently
Delivering building materials to commercial and residential sites
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing delivery paperwork
Following all health & safety procedures at customer sites
Providing a professional and customer-focused service
Pay Rates
PAYE
£16.20 per hour
£21.50 per hour after 8 hours
PAYE Advanced
£18.16 per hour
£24.20 per hour after 8 hours
✅ Minimum 40 hours guaranteed each week
✅ Weekly pay
✅ Overtime opportunities available
✅ Requirements
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid HIAB certification – ALLMI C5+E essential
(AITT or RTITB certification also accepted)
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Previous HIAB experience preferred
Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
