Summary
It’s an exciting time to join Autolift as we continue to grow within the commercial vehicle lifting equipment sector. Over the past 12 months, our production levels have increased significantly, and we are now looking to expand our workshop capacity even further.
We are a close-knit team, proud to design and manufacture all of our products on-site before distributing them across the UK and internationally. This role is primarily workshop-based and offers a hands-on opportunity to be directly involved in the build and assembly of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the manufacture of component parts (full training provided)
Assembly of lifting equipment and related products
Picking and packing spare parts orders
Maintaining accurate stock control within the workshop
Supporting goods in/out and general workshop organisation
This is a physically active role, and due to the nature of our products, it will involve manual handling and heavy lifting.
Additional Information:
This is a fully on-site, workshop-based role
Full training will be provided on all equipment and processes
You will work closely with a small team, where communication and teamwork are essential
Essential Skills & Experience:
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
A proven track record of excellent time-keeping and attendance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A driving licence would be advantageous
FLT license would be advantageous
Previous engineering experience/education would be adventageous but not required

£13.00p per hour
(There will be some opportunity for overtime depending on the workload but this will not be mandatory.) Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate.
20 Days Holiday per year (+ Bank Holidays)
Hours per week – 40
Our standard working hours are;
Monday – Thursday – 7am to 4.30pm
Friday – 7am to 11am
