We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Sedgley House & Lodge.This role will be working full time, 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Cygnet Sedgley House and Lodge offer a 34 bed high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men with complex needs as well as supporting 8 beds in our community step-down houses. The service is designed to provide an environment that promotes mental health recovery by focusing on space, personal privacy and dignity. Cygnet Sedgley House and Lodge is a multi-disciplinary and psychologically informed service. The focus is on nurturing an enabling environment to deliver a clinical model, developed specifically to meet the needs of service users within an operational framework, providing a high quality environment for promoting long-term recovery. Your Day-to-DayWe are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with; Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written) Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes Administration, audit, research and service developmentWere looking for some one who is Salary: £28,826.70 per year Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team Qualified to Masters degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)Why Cygnet?
