Salary: £92.59 - £100 Per Day

We are an education recruitment agency, who specialise within Special Educational Needs, working in partnership with a number of Schools across Bath, both in mainstream and SEN. We are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with a variety of Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

This is a rewarding opportunity to work within specialist education settings that prioritise inclusive practice, pupil wellbeing, and personalised learning.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
- Support learners with ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs
- Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes tailored to individual needs and support plans
- Promote positive behaviour strategies in line with school policies
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams
- Support pupils with personal care needs where required

Who We're Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals who:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEN/ ALN (school, care, youth work, support work or similar)
- Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Are confident supporting pupils with additional behavioural or emotional needs
- Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to obtain one)

Experience within specialist settings or working with pupils with complex needs would be highly advantageous.
