Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and overseeing daily sales operations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail and sales management. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively serve diverse customer bases. Duties
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organisational objectives
Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to maximise performance and productivity
Manage key client relationships and identify new business opportunities
Oversee merchandising activities to ensure products are presented optimally
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service
Monitor sales metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management
Coordinate with marketing teams to plan promotional campaigns and events
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across the sales department
Organise schedules, manage administrative tasks, and maintain accurate records of sales activities
Utilise organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
Proven experience in management, supervising teams within retail or sales environments
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; phone etiquette is essential
Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative functions
Time management skills to meet deadlines consistently
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous for engaging with a broader customer base
Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans that drive revenue growth
Management experience with a focus on team management, coaching, and performance evaluation
