Summary

Teaching Assistants Required - Primary & SEN Schools Across Kent

Start Date: September 2026

Teaching Personnel are seeking experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support Primary and SEN schools across Kent from September.

We are working closely with a range of schools that require passionate practitioners who can provide high-quality support to young learners with a variety of additional needs. These roles are ideal for candidates who have experience working with children and young people with complex learning, behavioural, communication, and physical needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or within a similar educational support role.
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including complex needs.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Full-time availability from September.
- A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
