What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a teacher who:
• Is an excellent classroom practitioner, or aspiring to become one, with a commitment to inclusive education and high-quality teaching for pupils with SEND.
• Has a secure understanding of a range of special educational needs and the ability to adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
• Can plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning experiences that enable pupils to make excellent progress academically, socially and emotionally.
• Will inspire, nurture and challenge children to achieve their full potential whilst promoting independence, confidence and self-esteem.
• Has high expectations of behaviour, achievement and inclusion for all pupils.
• Demonstrates a commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for children with SEND.
• Can work effectively with class teachers, support staff, parents, carers and external agencies to ensure a joined-up approach to provision.
• Has a desire to build upon the school's high standards of pastoral care and commitment to pupil wellbeing.
• Can communicate effectively with all stakeholders and develop positive professional relationships.
• Is committed to supporting the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
