Stoke Bishop Church of England Primary School currently has a vacancy for a SEND teaching assistant to provide support on a 1:1 basis to a child with additional needs in a Reception class under the direction of the class teachers and the Inclusion Lead. We welcome applications from people with a range of different experiences and the role is predominantly about being able to develop effective relationships.You will be joining a very open, friendly and energetic team, working within a EYFS hub of teachers and teaching assistants in Reception. We are looking for people who like to contribute and see the impact of their work, both with children and colleagues. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and interests both as part of your team and as an individual and appropriate training will be provided.You will be highly motivated to contribute and learn in a positive supportive culture that is focused on delivering the best learning opportunities for children. The hours are Monday - Friday from 8.45am to 3.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break and a 15 minute morning break.This position is permanent, subject to the child remaining at the school.Start date: 3rd September 2026VISITS AND INTERVIEW ARRANGEMENTS We encourage you to visit our school and we will be only too happy to show you around.
