The job holder will prepare technical specifications to support commercial procurement and project delivery, drive sustainable engineering solutions, and optimise electrical or mechanical asset lifecycles through effective maintenance planning. They will liaise with stakeholders to manage risks, contribute to FMP and ARP, lead teams, oversee audits, ensure compliance, support projects, chair meetings, and manage budgets to deliver efficient, safe, and reliable estate operations and continuous improvement across services and promote innovation through professional knowledge sharing.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
Reporting against H&S, Compliance – Statutory and contractual, Budget, Performance, risks, dependencies, and mitigating actions. Act as a liaison point for the contract provider and professional advisors on new projects when raising commissions / feasibility studies.Provide effective management relating to the estate day to day matters affecting the efficient running of the Agency’s sites. Responsible for reporting of regular and timely information to the G7 Head of hard services and/or G6 Head of Estates.Provide estates and property knowledge to EMG SMT with a pipeline of electrical environmental, decarbonisation, improvements, and projects to help Develop future Estates Strategy.Manage the Hard services supplier regarding all Mechanical & Electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works including projects and life-cycle replacement. Providing advice on asset condition. Initial point of contact for complaints and issues in relation to Electrical or Mechanical services.Great line management is important to us as an organisation, and we will equip and support line managers to develop the skills they need.
