Summary
Performing a wide range of radiographic examinations to a high technical and professional standard. Rotating through core areas including General X-ray, Theatre imaging, CT, and DEXA scanning, contributing to a flexible and responsive service. Participating in the out-of-hours service, supporting emergency and urgent imaging needs. Delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care at all times, maintaining dignity, privacy, and confidentiality. Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in line with regulatory and organisational requirements. Adhering to all health and safety, radiation protection, and infection prevention policies. Contributing to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives. Undertaking a structured development programme in DEXA scanning and supporting the ongoing growth and delivery of this service. Actively engaging in continuous professional development and supporting the training of junior staff and students where appropriate.
