Summary

ESOL Tutor (Pre-Entry Level) – Part-Time
Location: Smethwick

Hours: Wednesdays & Thursdays, 10:00am – 3:00pm
Pay: £20 per hour

Start Date: Immediate End Date: End of July 2026

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and supportive ESOL Tutor to deliver engaging lessons to adult learners at Pre-Entry Level. The successful candidate will work with small groups of up to 10 learners, helping them develop essential English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging ESOL lessons for Pre-Entry learners.
Support learners to develop confidence in everyday English.
Differentiate teaching to meet individual learner needs.
Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Promote attendance, participation, and achievement.

Requirements

ESOL teaching qualification or relevant teaching qualification.
Experience teaching ESOL learners, preferably at Pre-Entry level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
