Barnardo's Isle of Wight 0-19 Early Help/Family Hub's are seeking to appoint an intensive Family Support Worker (project worker 2) who will join a team of Intensive Family Support workers delivering family support to families across the Island.

The successful candidate will:

Have experience working with children and families.
Educated to an NVQ level 3 equivalent in education, childcare health or social care
Experience of safeguarding and Early Help
Ability to work independently and manage their own caseload
Experience of delivering evidence based interventions (desirable)
Experience of working with children/families who are in need of support
Above all they will be passionate about improving the life chances of children and families.

We offer a hybrid model of working, therefore the successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage their working day between home, family visits and our Family Hub's situated across the Island.

It is essential that applicants have access to their own vehicle for which mileage will be paid.

Part time working would be considered (minimum 30 hours over 4 days)
