Summary

Electrician – HMP Holme House (Stockton-on-Tees) TS18 2QU
Salary: £30,866 – £36,135
Hours: 39 per week

Mon–Thurs: 07:30–16:00
Fri: finish at 15:00
1 in 3 weekends (+15% shift allowance) 07:45 - 16:45


Amey is recruiting a permanent Electrician to join the facilities team at HMP Holme House on a long-term Ministry of Justice contract.

The role:
Planned and preventative electrical maintenance
Fault finding and repairs
Minor works and like-for-like replacements
Electrical testing and inspections (BS7671)
Ensuring systems are safe and compliant
What you need:
Level 2 Electrical qualification
18th Edition (17th considered with training)
PPM experience and strong H&S awareness
Able to work independently
Basic IT skills


Fire alarm/CCTV knowledge desirable.



Prison Security Clearance + Standard DBS required (full support provided by Amey).
