Qualifications (Essential): Full, clean Driving Licence with eligibility to drive in the United Kingdom HGV Class 2 ( Category C) Licence Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Drivers Qualification Card Experience & Knowledge: Previous experience of driving an HGV Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the Data Protection Act 1998 Relevant Health & Safety legislation Demonstrates an awareness of the importance of keeping the clinical environment safe and clean Skills & Abilities: Able to communicate with a range of people Understanding of the importance of good customer service Personal Qualities: Diplomatic and calm under pressure Self-motivated and able to work both autonomously and within a team Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
