Summary
HGV Class 2 Driver - Waste Oil Collection
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a well-established waste management company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for a long-term role with great benefits and consistent Monday to Friday work.
The role involves the collection and disposal of waste engine oil from customer sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
- Collecting and transporting waste engine oil
- Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring compliance with road transport and health & safety regulations
- Following driver hours and working time directives
- Completing 2 nights out per week (night out and meal allowance provided)
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
