Provide training, coaching and advice to education staff, parents and carers.
Support the selection, programming and effective use of communication devices and software.
Contribute to EHCP assessments, annual reviews and professional reports.
Deliver both direct and indirect therapy interventions.

Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures.
Contribute to service development, training resources and best practice initiatives.

Knowledge of Autism, developmental language disorders and complex communication needs.
Strong understanding of multidisciplinary working within educational settings.
Excellent communication, report writing and relationship-building skills.

Desirable Experience

Experience working with AAC systems and communication devices.
Knowledge of assistive technology and communication software.
Experience contributing to EHCP processes and annual reviews.
Previous experience within specialist schools, resource provisions or community paediatric services.
Experience delivering training to staff and families.
