Crynodeb
To provide weekly 62 day pathway specific diagnostic waiting list information to enable all clinical teams to be fully informed of specific Imaging waits. To act as Radiologys Cancer Co-ordinator pulling patients through all cancer specialities, helping facilitate 7-day turnaround and reducing diagnostic waits. As Co-ordinator, you will support the above activities and optimising turnaround time within Radiology and 62-day RTT pathways. To liaise with clinical specialities and cancer trackers to ensure the diagnostic imaging is efficiently planned and organised around the patient pathway to ensure the 62-day target for treatment can be met. To use specialist knowledge of the patient pathway to ensure any possible blocks to timely diagnostic imaging are eliminated or minimised. Liaise with key contacts regarding enquiries from internal and external sources to resolve any problems, queries or complaints where appropriate.
