About the Role:
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Community Care Assistants to join our growing team in Barnsley. You will support clients in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and person-centred care.
We offer flexible working patterns to suit your availability, including:
Morning shifts (e.g. 6:45am–11am)
Half days (e.g. 9am–3pm, 7am-1pm)
Full days (e.g. 8am–5pm, 7am-8pm)
Other flexible options available
Rotas are planned two weeks in advance, allowing you to manage your schedule effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and daily living support
Assist with medication (where trained)
Support with meal preparation and companionship
Maintain accurate care records
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months care experience
Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
A caring, respectful, and professional approach
Ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Relevant care training/certificates (or willingness to complete)
