Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly experienced, values-driven individual to join our Board as an Associate Non-Executive Director.
This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the strategic leadership and governance of one of the largest and most ambitious NHS trusts in the country. As an Associate Non-Executive Director, you will bring independent judgement, strategic insight, and constructive challenge to support the Board in setting the Trust’s strategic direction and maintaining the highest standards of governance.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with a strong background in primary care, including general practice, primary care networks, integrated neighbourhood teams, or wider community-based healthcare services.
About You
You will bring:
Senior leadership experience in primary care or related health services.
A strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing integrated care.
Strategic thinking, sound judgement, and the ability to influence effectively.
The confidence to provide independent support and constructive challenge.
A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
A passion for improving patient outcomes and reducing health inequalities.
Previous board experience is welcome but not essential. We encourage applications from individuals with a broad range of professional and lived experience.
