Summary

Junior Brand Manager / Brand Manager

Location: London (Hybrid) · Salary: £35–45k + bonus + equity + training budget + wellbeing days

The Role

Be part of a fast-scaling food brand already live in Tesco (1,000 stores nationwide), with further expansion underway.

This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and help shape how a challenger food brand grows across retail, from product to marketing to commercial performance.

You’ll work across brand, product, and growth in a hands-on role where no two days are the same.

The Mission

For decades, “eating well” has been confusing, expensive, and full of compromise.

We’re changing that by bringing genuinely better food into mainstream retail — accessible, affordable, and built around clear nutritional standards:

High protein
High fibre
Low sugar
Whole food ingredients
No artificial preservatives or unnecessary fillers

Real food, made simple, at scale.

What You’ll Do
Brand & Comms
Protect brand tone across all touchpoints
Write and edit copy (packaging, web, email, FAQs)
Support partnerships and collaborations
Maintain brand assets and guidelines
Product & Insight
Attend tastings and NPD sessions
Track trends, competitors, and consumer insight
Turn product details into simple consumer messaging
Support launch planning
Growth & Commercial
Support growth across key metrics: sales rate, awareness, penetration, and new shoppers
Understand what drives in-store performance
Help turn brand activity into commercial results
Ways of Working
Support PR and external partners
Keep multiple projects moving at pace
Help introduce smarter tools and AI-driven workflows
Who You Are
3–5 years’ marketing experience (FMCG preferred)
Experience across both structured brand environments and fast-moving teams
Strong writing and communication skills
Highly organised with great attention to detail
Comfortable working at pace with ambiguity
Food obsessed and genuinely curious about products
Strong stakeholder management skills
Interested in using AI to work smarter and faster
What This Role Is

This is not a structured corporate role.

There is no big marketing machine or rigid playbook — just a fast-growing brand in major retail, a small team, and a huge opportunity to build something from the ground up.

If you want ownership, speed, and real impact on a brand people actually buy — this is it.
