We are recruiting an indoor Pig Stockperson for a farm in Lancashire (PR3).
The family-run farm has been operating and growing since the 1990s and now needs a new team member for its 350-sow breeding-to-finishing unit.
Person specification:
Ability & eagerness to work across all areas of pig production
Ideally, good experience in a farrowing house and the workings of a pig farm, but on-the-job training can be given to the right candidate
Highest welfare and care standards
Attention to detail and motivated for excellent performance
Able to work every other weekend
Able to work approximately 50 hours per week
Must have a driving license and a car
A Telehandler certificate would be ideal, but not essential
Salary guide: £35,000 - 45,000 DOE
