Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Professional looking for your next rewarding role?
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Moston that is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Specialist to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, running until the end of the academic year.
The school is looking for a compassionate and proactive individual who can provide high-quality support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve positive outcomes.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Delivering targeted interventions and personalised learning activities.
- Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement support plans.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in learning.
- Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN within a school setting.
- Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH needs is desirable.
- A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
