This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive in a supportive, nurturing environment.
About the Role
You’ll be working closely with the class teacher to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience. Daily responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils who need additional help
- Leading or assisting with small‑group interventions
- Supporting phonics, reading, writing and maths activities
- Helping maintain a calm, positive and inclusive classroom
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
The school is known for its friendly team, strong community values and commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work or similar)
- A patient, nurturing and positive approach
- Good communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children thrive
- Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification is desirable but not essential
- Reliability, professionalism and a willingness to get stuck in
