The Governors and Headteacher of St Joseph's Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive team.

We are proud of the supportive culture that exists across our school and are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will help us continue to provide the very best opportunities for all children.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to support pupils both in class and through targeted interventions, helping children to make progress academically, socially and emotionally.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience of working with primary-aged children and understands how to support their learning and development.
• Can work effectively with individuals, small groups and whole classes under the direction of the class teacher.
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and the wider school community.

• Is able to support pupils with a range of needs, enabling them to access learning successfully.
• Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Is reflective, enthusiastic and committed to their own professional development.
• Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life.
